The following forms must be submitted in order to apply to Schoolhouse Preparatory
ASSESSMENT FOR INCOMING FRESHMEN:
Students applying to 9th grade must sit for an entrance exam and spend a half day at the school for observation. The results will be used for evaluation and academic placement.
ASSESSMENT FOR INCOMING SOPHOMORES AND JUNIORS:
Students entering 10th or 11th grade must submit official school transcripts indicating final grade and weighted GPA. Student will also be scheduled to spend a half day at the school for observation and an interview with the administration.
Parents and the student applying will be interviewed by Dr. De Villiers and members of the assessment team to discuss goals and expectations. Parents will be notified at the interview if the student is admitted to the school. Previous Report Cards, school records, Standardized test results and two Letters of Recommendation from previous school will be carefully reviewed. Results of these combined evaluations will determine eligibility. Final decisions regarding admission are made by the Principal.
