International Students Admissions Process
Schoolhouse Preparatory is a Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP)-certified school and eligible to enroll
F-1 students in the United States.

Admissions Review:
Once all documents have been submitted, these will be reviewed by the admissions team. Previous Report Cards, school records, and two Letters of Recommendation from previous school will be carefully reviewed. Student will be informed if they are considered a candidate for admission. Students considered as candidates will be scheduled for an interview.
Student Interview
International students and their parents will be interviewed by Dr. De Villiers as part of the admissions. If the interview can not be conducted in person, it can also be done through ZOOM. Candidates will be required to express their reason for studying in the United States as well as their future goals. During the interview, candidates will be screened for English Language proficiency.
Admissions and Registration
Admissions will be granted based on academic records, teacher recommendations, and the student interview. Final decisions regarding admission are made by the Principal. I-20 Visa will be issued once the student has been granted admission to Schoolhouse Preparatory. Once you receive the I-20 forms, the Parent/Guardian must schedule the interview at the American Embassy and is responsible for paying the I-901 Fee and the American Embassy fee. Visit https://studyinthestates.dhs.gov/ for more information on paying fees and scheduling the appointment at the embassy. Schoolhouse Preparatory does not guarantee that a student will be approved for the F-1 Visa by the American embassy.
Once the student is granted the F-1 Visa by the American Embassy, the following documents must be provided:
F-1 students in the United States.
Requirements:
- Student must reside with a parent or guardian in Miami, Florida while attending Schoolhouse Preparatory.
- Schoolhouse Preparatory will not admit international students with a terminated I-20 Visa.
Application Process:
- Complete the International Student Online Application
- Submit a copy of the most recent original report card and English translation.
- Submit a copy of the ORIGINAL TRANSCRIPT from 8th grade to present grade.
- Submit a copy of the student's Passport.
- Submit a copy of the student’s birth certificate
- Submit the most recent standardized test scores (if available).
- Submit two Teacher Recommendation Forms
- Pay $100 Non-Refundable Processing Fee.

- Official Final Transcript. Must be an original with the stamp of the issuing institution.
- Proof of immunization
- Registration Form along with $500 Deposit
