POLICY ON STUDENTS TRANSFERRING COURSES FROM ANOTHER HIGH SCHOOL
Schoolhouse Preparatory will accept credits transferred in from an accredited institution. The Cumulative GPA will then be factored in to the GPA earned while at Schoolhouse Preparatory. Students enrolling in 12th grade who are missing credits to graduate will be required to take the credit during the summer session or as a 7th period course. A student who earns an “F” as a final average in any a subject is required to attend summer school for credit recovery or take the course during 7th period. The student’s permanent record will show both grades, the one earned during the regular school year with no credit earned, and the one earned during summer school with credit earned. Transfer students must submit:
- an official transcript from previous high school(s) listing courses taken and Final Grade.
- only credits from an accredited High School will be accepted.
- credits transferred from another high school will appear on the Final Transcript with the comment Transferred Credit (T).
- Students will not receive credit for courses with a final grade of an F.
