What is VocRehab

Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) is a federal-state program that funds the college education of persons with a disability (Academic, Health, Emotional). VR assists eligible students prepare and plan for college and employment success after high school.  

What Programs does VR Fund

This is a federal program and applies to anywhere in the United States. VR will fund colleges and Technical Schools at the state rate, and ensure that their clients attain and maintain successful employment.

Are VR Services based on Parent Income

No. Eligibility is determined by a review of records and a psychological evaluation. Students may qualify for additional funding of services based on financial need.

When does a student apply for VR

Schoolhouse students who are eligible for VR apply in September of their Senior Year. A psychological evaluation is conducted at no cost to determine services. All meetings are conducted at Schoolhouse Preparatory.
